Advanced Conformation Course Description
This is not a drop-in class and teams should be prepared to attend all 7 weeks of class. Dogs must be 1 year old. This is an advanced conformation class and is designed for handlers and dogs who are preparing to finish their Championship title and go on to compete in Groups. Dog and owners have competed in AKC conformation shows and have earned points toward an AKC CH. This class will present you with the tools on how to become a teammate with your dog. It will go over how to dress both you and your dog, how to bait effectively, grooming, exercise and how to present you and your dog to the best of your ability. It will also cover ring etiquette both in and out of the ring. This class will be about the details.
Please do not bring dogs to first class. Bring something to take notes and your show lead and collar. Must have proof of vaccination or titers at the first class.
