Raised on a farm a good portion of my life, I had many dogs growing up. We had GSD, Cocker & English Spaniels, Great Pyrenees, Border Collie, Weimarener, Beagles in the assortment. After I was married most of our dogs were mixed breed and rescues. I started taking classes from TMDTC when my husband wanted a Rottweiler. I was hooked and have been a member since 1990. I started assisting at classes soon after that. I started teaching about 1995. I have learned a lot from the instructors but, I learned even more from the dogs that needed a home. I decided I wanted to compete and 4 years ago I bought Bailey, my Golden Retriever. He has been the wildest, most diffficult, most fun dog I have had. He has his BN, CD, RN & RA. He was certified as a Therapy Dog this month. I have been on the board several times, I teach classes all the time, I have worked almost all Obedience Trails since I joined.
